"Everything over the last 10 days has been over the top from the service, the accommodations, the safari drives, the staff... this is our most memorable holiday ever!" - Diane, Nov 2016

Why choose to visit Botswana?

Our three reasons why we think you will love visiting Botswana

Luxury Safari Destination

Botswana really knows how to do ‘safari’ well! The internal charter flights and conservation ethos of the safari tourism industry really makes Botswana stand out in comparison to other countries in Southern Africa.

Spectacular Wilderness Landscapes

The Okavango Delta is one of the most spectacular wilderness destinations in the world. It abounds with life and is fully deserved of it’s status as a World Heritage Site.

Safari Boat Cruises

The Chobe is the first river after miles of desert and is a wildlife haven. It also offers the most unique chance to enjoy a freshwater safari cruise with incredible boat based game viewing.

Choosing where to travel

Botswana is one of our most popular safari destinations and it is easy to see why.

The Okavango Delta experience is magical and cannot be replicated especially if you combine a ‘wet’ and ‘dry’ camp in a safari. Complimenting the Okavango is the Chobe River experience – a haven for wildlife and easily combined with the Okavango Delta, the Victoria Falls and even a tiger fishing trip.

Logistics

Most flights into Maun or Kasane need to come via Johannesburg, South Africa although Kasane can easily be reached by road from Victoria Falls or Livingstone.

When to visit

Botswana is increasingly becoming a "year round" destination although we still recommend visiting from March - November with May, August and September being the prime months for game viewing and climate perspectives.

Budget

Safaris in Botswana are generally priced at higher rates than the equivalent products in other countries and we typically work with venues charging from USD 350 - USD 1750 pppn.
